The ‘Varosha International Initiative’ was founded in 2023 by Tonis Toumazis based on the belief that public opinion can influence policy making to act in compliance with international law and the UN resolutions resulting in the return of Varosha to it’s residents.
The Varosha International Initiative seeks to raise awareness and awaken the international community about the issue of the enclosed city of Varosha in Cyprus about a city that is there to rise from ruins to life.
